Before we showcase what the next seven days has in store in terms of sneaker releases, let’s take a look back at the biggest headlines from the past week.

TV show-inspired silhouettes had fans from all over the world drooling including an array of Mobile Suit Gundam-inspired sneakers released by Chinese footwear label 361°. Nike also officially unveiled its capsule collection inspired by Netflix’s hit show Stranger Things.

New silhouettes will also be flooding the market in the near future including adidas and Keith Haring’s graphic-heavy capsule, Givenchy’s Onitsuka Tiger collection, and Heron Preston’s first-ever sneaker line.

We were also given a few first looks of what will surely be coveted releases including a “Blue Water” YEEZY BOOST 700 V2; Versace’s SS20 footwear shared by Salehe Bembury; and another SpongeBob SquarePants-Themed Nike Kyrie 5 worn by Tina Charles on court. Additionally, visvim teased an Air Max 1-inspired sneaker in its SS20 lookbook preview.

Elsewhere, we got up close with COMME des GARÇONS x Nike Shox TL in “Triple White,” Jordan Brand’s Air Jordan 1 Mid “Quai 54” and Parra and Nike’s collaborative SB Dunk Low.

Nike also brought back the Daybreak silhouette after a three-decade hiatus while also readying the React Ianga, React Sertu, the glowing “Phantom Green” 2019 Zoom series, and the new “N. 354,” “THE10TH” and “D/MS/X” sportswear lines.

Finally, our editors chose the best sneakers of 2019 thus far.
