Wolfgang Tillmans recently launched his ninth solo exhibition at East London’s Maureen Paley. The multifaceted artist displays his new experimentations with image-making including archival works from the mid-1980s.
Highlights include Tillman’s 2019 Old Street (parallax) multi-part pieces that feature visuals of the landmark East London roundabout captured in different angles, Greifbar works with the artist utilizing a new duo-chromatic plate, and an audio work entitled Sound of Central (2018) comprised of layered field recordings to offer an ethereal soundscape.
