Missoni References Serge Gainsbourg's Eclectic Style for SS20 Collection
Bold patterns and bright colors throughout.

Missoni presents its men’s Spring/Summer 2020 collection in an eclectic lookbook which references the unconventional style of Serge Gainsbourg. The French artist and musician is the inspiration for this season’s looks — which are channeled in a kitsch lookbook shot in a home library.
The collection takes inspiration from Gainsbourg heavily, referencing his bohemian take on formalwear. Key pieces from Missoni’s SS20 collection include the selection of double-breasted blazers, which are adorned with either pinstripes or Prince of Wales checks, as well as a blue pea-coat which features a macro Vichy check pattern.
Missoni’s collection also includes releasing crewnecks, boat-necks, shawl-collar cardigans and polos in floral jacquards, argyle-patterned intarsias and iconic Missoni over-dyed patchworks — the latter of which can be found on the interior linings of blazers and coats. Take a look at Missoni’s SS20 collection in the gallery above.
