Nike is Bringing Back its Daybreak Silhouette After 30 Years
Three muted colorways with a dash of color.
After its collaboration with UNDERCOVER (with more to come), Nike has officially brought back its classic Daybreak silhouette after three decades.
Originally born in 1984, the now modernized model will be making a comeback in three largely muted colorways — “White/University Red”, “Cool Grey” and “Vegas Gold” — all complemented by a dash of eye-catching color on the Swoosh logos. The models have the same construction, the upper consisting mostly of nylon with suede paneling, which then rests on a simple foam midsole and a black rubber waffle outsole. Nike branding can be found by the Swooshes on the midfoot, the tongue tabs and by the heels.
All three colorways for the Nike Daybreak will be available on nike.com starting June 22, for a price tag of $100 USD.
