John Elliott & Suicoke Release Three Oreo-Toned Footwear Staples
Equipped with Vibram soles.
John Elliott‘s long list of existing collaborations, like the recent team-up with Blackmeans, now features addition of another collaborative Suicoke footwear project. This time, the Californian designer and the Japanese brand launch a trio of sandal silhouettes, executed in Elliott’s preferred monochrome tones.
Included in the capsule are three unisex styles: MOTO-CAB, KAW-CAB, and KISEE-VPO. Each piece model sees a monochromatic color scheme that’s duo-toned with a black upper and a contrasting white sole. Though the KISEE-VPO is the only model that boasts a sturdy Vibram Morfrex sole, the other two models have Suicoke’s bespoke wedge soles, set beneath the brand’s anti-bacterial EVAfootbed.
The MOTO includes two ballistic velcro straps, layered with overlapping neoprene padding underneath. Coming with a slightly more elevated sole, the KISEE comes with straps that hug the ankle and work their way down to the forefoot. Lastly, the KAW is dominated by a sleek nylon fabric that covers the medial sides – short straps secure the laterals, with Suicoke branding sewn atop.
The John Elliott x Suicoke 2019 capsule is currently available on suicoke.ca and at John Elliott’s Melrose Flagship location for $197 – $220 USD.
