The final week of August has arrived and things seem to have cooled down a bit in terms of sneaker releases. Before we get to this week’s best footwear drops however, let’s take a look back at the headlines from the past seven days.

Over the weekend, both the footwear and sports world celebrated Mamba Day. La Brea-mainstay UNDEFEATED released a four-pack Nike Zoom Kobe 4 Protro collection, paying homage to the legendary basketball player, Kobe Bryant, and his Team Kobe teammates. Additionally, GOAT looked into the archives of Bryant’s Nike signature line and showcased the best sneakers from his career.

Off-White™ founder Virgil Abloh also made multiple headlines this past week by confirming three Off-White™ x Nike Dunk Lows are on their way and explaining why his Off-White™ x Nike sneakers come with so many accessories. Abloh also gifted golfer Brooks Koepka with a pair of custom Off-White™ x Nike Air Max 90 to compete in.

In terms of first looks, images of the Nike Kyrie 6 surfaced along with a better look at the YEEZY BOOST 700 V2 “Inertia.”

Elsewhere, footwear accessories also grabbed the attention of sneakerheads around the globe. The Chitose Abe-helmed sacai dropped luxe add-ons for the Nike Blazer Mid and LDWaffle, while Nike shared a removable gaiter boot attachment for its VaporMax silhouette.

Finally, we sat down with HYPEBEAST staff as they tried to guess YEEZY 500 colorways.

Now with a new week ahead of us, we present the latest installment of our weekly footwear drops list, showcasing what’s to come from your favorite footwear brands. Take a look at the list below and let us know what releases you’re looking forward to.
