Nike's VaporMax FK ISPA Boasts Removable Gaiter Boot Attachment
Transformable winter runners.

Nike frequently drops winter-ready footwear towards the beginning and end of each year, ranging from the SF AF-1 High to the progressive Airquent. For the forthcoming cold season, The Swoosh has prepared a clever take on its classic Air VaporMax, sliding a gaiter-style boot attachment right on top of the sleek running shoe.
Part of Nike’s technical ISPA classification, the sneaker portion of the Air VaporMax FK Vapor ISPA retains most of the same characteristics as Nike’s VaporMax 2, including the Flyknit upper, though it features a slightly elongated Swoosh and lacks pull tabs on the heel.
Obviously, the most notable upgrade is the removable gaiter shell that transforms the trim runner into a tall boot, complete with zipper closure and pixelated Swoosh branding. Neutral shades and silver accents appear throughout, with the mostly-black iteration covering a blue VaporMax and the silver gaiter sitting atop a nearly all-black sneaker, complete with pops of contrasting silver and orange.

Most recently, Nike showcased the mental health-inspired Air Max 270 React Premium “In My Feels.”
