Valentino Brings Italian Luxury to Onitsuka Tiger's Mexico 66
Four bold, crisp colorways, all of which feature special co-branded detailing.

Following a reveal at Paris Fashion Week FW20 in January, Valentino and Onitsuka Tiger are set to officially release their Mexico 66 collaboration. Conceptualized by Valentino creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli, the offerings consist of four monochromatic styles, each with a look that’s equal parts Italian luxury and sporty Japanese flair.
This colorful quartet boasts three neon tones — orange, pink and yellow — alongside one simple and stark white. Each pair’s trim upper is built fully of supple Italian leather, and features recognizable details like a Tiger stripe and T-shaped toe cap. Valentino’s signature V graphic is stamped on the lateral midfoot of each style in black, making for a bold pop of contrast that drops down onto the midsole. Further black detailing arrives on the co-branded tongues and trademark heel tabs, while stamped sockliners and trim midsoles round off each look. Of course, the Mexico 66 has long been a darling of the high fashion world: these Valentino makeups follow two styles from Givenchy that released in June 2019.
All four pairs from the Valentino x Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66 collection are slated to release on July 17, and each will retail for $540 USD. They’ll be available on the Valentino webstore and at Valentino’s retail flagships on/in Fifth Avenue, Bal Harbour, South Coast Plaza, Ala Moana and Toronto.
