Louis Vuitton's 'Walk In The Park' Men's Residency in SoHo is Now Open
Cuban chains, LV Trainers, Millionaire sunnies, exclusive pieces and more are being sold at the vibrantly-styled pop-up.
Virgil Abloh has been generating a sizable amount of noise in various corners of the fashion industry lately. After previewing his impressive 50 Dunk collection with Nike and 21-piece Louis Vuitton x Air Force 1 capsule at Paris Fashion Week, Abloh and he and his team at the French luxury label introduced its new ‘Louis Vuitton: Walk In The Park’ initiative — a temporary men’s residency that’s located in SoHo, New York City.
Every inch of this shopping experience from the outside of the store to the back mirror is whimsical. The exterior of the shop is painted in a rich purple hue, and as soon as you set foot inside, you’re greeted with vivid gradience from the floor to the shelving to the ceiling arches, the latter of which is inspired by Paris’ Pont Neuf. The rainbow colors are a direct nod to Abloh’s debut Louis Vuitton runway show for Spring/Summer ‘2019 — the very grounds that he and longtime friend and mentor Kanye West shared an intimate moment as the show concluded. The space has a wide array of products including that of Pre-Fall and Fall colorways of the LV Trainers, new Millionaire and Cyclone sunglasses, cuban link chains, trunks, hard-sided accessories and more.
The space opened up on June 30, and it will transform come July 9 to showcase the Fall/Winter 2021 ready-to-wear, accessories, leather goods and more. Peep a closer look at the shop and its exclusive items here above.
