Palace Taps Slap Magazine For Upcoming Capsule
Paying homage to an American skateboarding institution.

After unveiling its upcoming collab with Vans earlier this week, Palace has announced it has also linked with American skateboarding publication Slap Magazine for a one-off capsule collection.
Founded in 1992, Slap Magazine was a skateboarding institution founded by Kevin Thatcher and Fausto so their other publication — Thrasher Skateboard Magazine — had some stiffer competition. Despite ceasing print in 2008, the Slap Magazine website still serves as a popular message board for skateboarding content and conversation.
Now linking up with London-based Palace for a unique capsule, the collection comprises a selection of jackets, T-Shirts and caps, all of which house various graphics synonymous with the magazine, alongside reworked logos incorporating Palace’s iconic branding.
The collection will be available from Palace Shops in London, NYC, Los Angeles and Dover Street Market in London and Los Angeles from July 2, as well as via its online webstore. A Tokyo release is then set for July 3.
