Alchemist Taps Futura Laboratories For Art Basel Miami Art Café
Features premium beverages, apparel, collectibles and editions from a variety of lauded artists.
To celebrate Art Basel Miami 2019, Roma Cohen, co-founder of lifestyle concept store and brand Alchemist, and Sky Gellatly, co-founder of artist management and creative agency ICNCLST have come together on a one-week, art-themed café in Miami’s Design District.
Dubbed “Alchemist Art Cafe,” the exclusive experience features premium beverages, apparel, collectibles and editions from a variety of lauded artists. The illustrative branding for the cafe was designed by Futura Laboratories and the space has been furnished by Modernica with an exclusive range of Side Shell Eiffel Chairs. Guests will be able to enjoy a premium assortment of espresso and cold brew beverages courtesy of La Colombe Coffee Roasters.
Aside from a seven-piece capsule of Café Staff Merchandise from Futura Laboratories, the café will feature the Keith Haring Foundation x Diamond Supply Co. capsule, nana-nana’s “AKIRA ART WALL PROJECT” collection, prints from André Saraiva, decks from Futura Laboratories and offerings from Alchemist’s brand.
Alchemist Art Café is set to open December 2nd with launch event December 3 at 5 p.m. Additionally, Futura will be hosting a book signing event for his Full Frame artist monograph December 7-8.
