SiR & Zacari Conspire Against One Another in Video for "Mood"
A highlight from the TDE-signee’s recent ‘Chasing Summers’ album.
TDE-signee SiR has returned with a brand new visual for his Chasing Summer album “Mood” featuring fellow TDE artist Zacari. The Inglewood-bred artist’s third studio album has been met with a bevy of positive acclaim, boasting a staggering list of features including Kendrick Lamar, Smino, Lil Wayne, Sabrina Claudio, and more.
Today SiR and Zacari have come together to drop off a cinematic Mez for Heirs directed video for their track, which sees the two plotting against each other. SiR plays the “the bad guy,” with Zacari posited as “the good guy.” The latter can be seen invading SIR’s compound as he’s surrounded by an army of female soldiers.
Recently SiR sat down with HYPEBEAST to discuss the project’s meaning:
Summer is freedom. When you’re a kid, you think summer means no school, you think fun in a beach, family time…With this album I was chasing a certain type of freedom but I was battling with myself trying to find something I already had. I just used that analogy in relation to relationships. I feel like we definitely paint a vivid picture with Chasing Summer. I found out that I already had my summer.
You can watch the visual for “Mood” above.
