size? and Converse Team up for Customizable Chuck 70 "Multipatch"
Each pair is accompanied by eight patches, which can be placed anywhere on the upper.

size? and Converse have teamed up once again to create a highly customizable version of the iconic Chuck 70. Dubbed “Multipatch,” the special style pays tribute to the fierce individuality found in certain subcultures that the Chuck has become a key part of. This is achieved by the application of special patches — eight of which come with each pair.
Constructed entirely of a hook-and-loop fabric, the black upper is meant to be used as a canvas for the aforementioned patches, pushing the wearer to customize their shoes to their heart’s content. The rest of the construction is all classic, thanks to a high-gloss black midsole and toe cap.
If you’re looking to expand your options even further, size? and Converse have also created 19 other patches. These are available in random packs of 5, accompanying in-store purchases and select online orders. With varying degrees of rarity, these patches are reminiscent of trading cards, encouraging the user to buy and trade until they’re able to acquire the patch(es) they desire.
The size? x Converse Chuck 70 “Multipatch” releases on December 4 via https://www.size.co.uk/collection/converse-chuck-70s/ and size? stores. The MSRP is set at €95 (approximately $105 USD). This will be followed up by a three-day customization lab that runs from December 5 to December 7 at the size? location in Carnaby Street, enabling customers to create their own patches for a truly unique customization experience.
This isn’t the only project Converse has in the works; the brand recently unveiled an inside-out Pro Leather, created in collaboration with designer Shane Gonzales‘s Midnight Studios.
