The range, which was announced earlier this month, is comprised of Levi’s Type III Trucker Jacket, which originally debuted in 1967. The iconic apparel item has been updated with a zipper running down the back, which spits the piece perfectly in two and allows the halves to be joined with another jacket in the collaborative lineup.
The first release of the highly-anticipated Levi’s x BAPE capsule will be the limited edition Dubai version crafted from 12-oz indigo denim and featuring screen-printed Levi’s insignias and “stitching” that recreates BAPE’s famous camo print. The second item is the 13-oz. black twill jacket lined with BAPE’s ubiquitous camo print in black, white, red, and green, representing the United Arab Emirates’ flag. Finally a co-branded T-shirt will also be made available to purchase.
Interested readers will be able to purchase the Levi’s x BAPE Split Trucker Jacket and tee exclusively via Sole DXB between December 5-7. Keep it locked here for further release notes.
