Jordan Brand's Air Jordan 11 "Bred" 2019 Is a Faithful Recreation of the 1996 OG
Take a closer look at the premium materials and finish.
Jordan Brand‘s highly-anticipated Air Jordan 11 “Bred” is set to drop later this month in its most faithfully remade rendition since its initial 1996 release.
Taking a closer look at the 2019 AJ11 “Bred,” we can see that this pair is covered in original design elements that elevate this seasonal drop from the previous releases in 2001, 2008 and 2012. The timeless black-and-red colorway is offset by its stark white midsole which sports the iconic midfoot carbon fiber plate.
Elsewhere around the Michael Jordan classic is a heavy dose of patent leather which, in a true-to-original finish, is high-cut like the ‘96 pair. The “#23” graphic appears on the heel, while the icy-red outsole is finished with the OG Jumpman logo. The same bright red emblem can be seen on the ballistic mesh tongue’s mid-center stripe as well as on the leather collar, both of which come created as original as they can be.

In other news, Midnight Studios and Converse have come together for another inside-out sneaker.
