Gimme Five Is "Stayin' Alive" With Bee Gees-Inspired T-Shirt Capsule
With nods to Barbara Streisand and ‘Sesame Street,’ too.
Michael Kopelman‘s London-based cultural imprint Gimme Five is feeling the disco fever with its latest capsule collection of Bee Gees-inspired T-shirts.
The collection is comprised of both short-sleeve and long-sleeve offerings and sports graphics associated with the Bee Gees’ hit 1977 singles “Stayin’ Alive” and “Night Fever.” Two T-shirts sport a dancefloor-influenced graphic that reworks the Gimme Five moniker, while another introduces the iconic cartoon trio Bert, Ernie and the Cookie Monster in Sesame Street Fever.
Elsewhere, Gimme Five references Bee Gees’ Barry Gibb and Barbara Streisand in their 1980s duet “Guilty,” as well as the group’s album cover from Saturday Night Fever. Rounding off the capsule is a production-inspired T-shirt sporting front and back graphics from both the Bee Gees and Gimme Five.
