032c & adidas Quietly Drop Tactically-Indebted FYW S-97 Salvation
Complete with bold red branding and translucent panels.
032c and adidas have continued their partnership with the release of a clean FYW S-97 Salvation, following on from its utilitarian GSG9.2 Tactical Boot.
The collaborative pair takes on the form of adidas’ recently-revived FYW S-97, implementing new layers and panels to the retro silhouette for a minimal, distinctively 032c aesthetic. Atop of the sneaker is a new EQT-emblem shaped tongue guard made from foam, which is overlaid by a tactically-indebted lacing system.
This panel sits atop the tongue and partly covers the side panels that are made from both white and semitransparent mesh. Off-white suede contrasts the creamy-white body of the sneaker and forms the iconic wavy shapes found on the FYW S-97 Salvation, while translucent plastic panels throughout the sneaker offer further contrast. The panel on the rear sports the 032c moniker, while one on the tongue provides a space for dual-branding and another on the tongue supports the lacing system.
Completing the unique collaborative pair is the heritage “Freddy” sign-off on the heel, an icy outsole and red co-branded insoles. Take a look at the quietly-released 032c x adidas FYW S-97 Salvation in the gallery above, and pick up a pair from retailers such as BAIT and Julian Fashion for $203 USD while stocks last.
