21 Savage Joins 'Godfather of Harlem' Soundtrack With Single "On the Inside"
Another record from the new Epix crime series.
The Godfather of Harlem soundtrack continues to grow since the new Epix crime series made its debut earlier this season. Following behind singles featuring Rick Ross, Swizz Beatz, Pusha T and more, 21 Savage is now the latest to add his musical touch to the roster with his new song, “On the Inside.”
The track was produced by Kid Hazel and Marc B and spotlight’s the rapper’s usual musings about the streets and women. 21 Savage recounts the many facets of the trap lifestyle over the bass-heavy record, explaining that even though he’s “shinin’” he’s still “dark on the inside” from all that he’s been through. Elsewhere for the artist, he was recently featured on The Game’s newest album, Born II Rap, joining a start-studded tracklist with the likes of Anderson .Paak, Nipsey Hussle and more.
