Drake's NOCTA Manor: A Masterclass in Brand Visibility

The Boy’s sophomore installment of his NOCTA Manor went down in suburban New Jersey last week; a multisensory collision of ‘ICEMAN’ storytelling with strategic NOCTA touchpoints, we’re taking a closer look at the exclusive retreat.

Suburban New Jersey isn’t the first place you’d expect to see Drake posted up for a week, but if there’s one thing about The Boy, he’s going to surprise us with something absolutely none of us had on our radar.

Less than 24 hours after the FIFA World Cup Finals match went down in East Rutherford, New Jersey, the rapper headed just about 40 miles west to the Garden State’s Somerset County, where he set up shop at the sprawling, roughly 500-acre Pendry Natirar estate for his second annual NOCTA Manor retreat.

Rooted in “rest, relaxation, and fun,” the sophomore installation of Drake’s NOCTA Manor follows up the London iteration of the event. The first-ever NOCTA Manor took place just about a year before its successor, going down in Windsor, England, in July 2025, on the heels of Drake’s record-breaking three-day headlining run at Wireless Festival.

This time around, aside from the World Cup Finals going down just a few counties east, the occasion for the week of R&R was also heavily rooted in the success of Drake’s recent trifecta of studio records: ICEMAN, HABIBTI, and MAID OF HONOUR.

A multisensory collision of the albums’ storytelling with NOCTA touchpoints, the Manor marked an immersive merging of sport, music, and fashion, with a myriad of today’s tastemakers from across the cultural zeitgeist checking in for a stay. From recent collaborators like Central Cee and Yeat, to designer Domenico Formichetti and Devin Booker, Drizzy made sure all of his Day 1s were locked in. Aside from a Paris Fashion Week runway or the World Cup Finals game itself, there are few other places you’ll find Sexyy Red breaking bread with the world’s most promising rising Padel players.

From the outside, the Natirar was NOCTA down. NOCTA-labeled golf carts were seen parked outside; the basketball court’s wooden floors were polished with three-crosses logos, and “NOCTA Manor” sewn atop silk sleepwear. However, per a friend in the media industry who attended the Manor, aside from the content we were all privy to across socials, the NOCTA branding throughout the abode’s interior remained minimal.

Externally, the retreat was riddled with deliberate branded hits, essentially a quasi-physical brand activation, consumed solely virtually: still entirely effective, fueled by increasing levels of FOMO from the consistent stream of content landing in real time from the Manor’s visitors. Yet behind closed doors, for those who could actually get into these doors via ultra-exclusive invite, the NOCTA Manor instead felt like a natural extension of the ICEMAN narrative and, even more so, a mere excuse for Drake to host a luxury spa retreat with all of his friends, strategically framed through the lens of brand storytelling.

From the custom gear and goodie bags (complete with the “Shabang” slippers) to the guest list and golf carts, we’re taking a closer look at it all.

The Guest List

All of The Boy’s inner circle members were on-site at the Manor at some point throughout the week. Loe Shimmy – as he geared up for the release of his first major record post “I’m Spent” – and Sexyy Red were posted up for the entirety of the stay, with Central Cee, 21 Savage, Travis Scott, Nemzzz, and Yeat also popping in and out.

But it wasn’t just fellow rappers that pulled up; Veneda Carter and PDF designer Domenico Formichetti rolled through, along with Drake’s stylist 222JuJu (the name drop behind that “High Fives” lyric), who he worked closely with throughout his recent rollout. In true Drizzy fashion, Kevin Durant and Devin Booker also made appearances, alongside professional padel players Juan Lebrón and Agustín Tapia.

The Lay of the Land

This makes total sense as one of the Manor’s centerfolds was an outdoor lineup of padel and tennis courts. The Pendry Natirar got the true OVO treatment for the week, no holds barred. Golf carts stamped with “NOCTA Manor” branding transport guests throughout the expansive property, which also features a full-size indoor basketball court, the wooden floors adorned with sleek NOCTA and OVO branding. Nike, NOCTA and OVO flags waved outside the entryway.

NOCTA logos were stylized in the grass, with umbrellas surrounding the courts and pool area. Padel materials were finished off with subtle NOCTA branded hits, as was an all-white DJ booth stand designed like a beach resort’s towel stand.

An outdoor buffet area served fresh food all day, with the manor’s hospitality workers all donning uniform NOCTA Manor gear. The couches outside by the food area is where an Sexyy Red and Loe Shimmy’s shot an influx of their constant stream of social media content from the retreat.

Inside, a dining room was home to the nightly dinners, where a long table ran down the center of a medieval-esque great hall. Candles and a Carbone-curated menu lined the table every night. Elsewhere inside the abode, you could play pool at the living room’s pool table, where the cue ball was finished off with a black Swoosh.

A Custom Robe Fit for a King

Drake didn’t even wear full NOCTA around the mansion. Instead, he donned a one-of-one robe designed by Manor guest Domenico Formichetti. The quilted robe came embroidered with a “NOCTA Manor” emblem on the backside. Formichetti took to Instagram to share a handful of closer look photos at the design process.

And a New Nike Mind Debut

He did wear NOCTA on the feet, though, electing to debut two new colorways of his NOCTA x Nike Mind 001 mules. The rapper rocked a black smoke-graphic pair on the padel courts, with another taking to a blue-to-pink gradient colorway. On the latter of the two, the vibrant gradient transition extends from toe to heel, complemented by airbrushed NOCTA three-crosses logos across the top and custom branding on the soft tongue panel. The custom NOCTA x Nike Mind 001 Mules were created strictly for the NOCTA Manor retreat and have not yet received a public retail release.

The Merchandise

The Boy didn’t skip on the gifting either, each guest of the Manor walking away with a hearty assortment of goodies. Guests were greeted with a personalized card that read, “Welcome to NOCTA Manor. We have curated a selection of amenities and exclusive pieces specifically for your time with us.” And what a selection was curated. Laid out on each guest’s bed upon arrival was a silk pajama set, embroidered with “NOCTA MANOR” branding and logos, along with a “Shabang” slipper set and “What Did I Miss?” eye mask.

Formichetti emulated the distinct design of Drake’s custom robe across a delivery of NOCTA Manor silk bandanas as well. A “NOCTA Manor” beach bag also landed in light brown.

The PDF designer’s NOCTA Manor emblem was also envisioned on a slate of grey sweatsuits, donned by every Manor attendee. Consisting of a grey hoodie and matching pair of sweatpants, the unofficial NOCTA Manor uniform saw the iconography placed on each of the two pieces in the set.

There was a second matching set designed for the Manor’s guests, this one taking to a more World Cup-inspired aesthetic. The colorblocked, football-coded attire came dipped in a red and blue colorway, cleaned up with gold trim and accenting. The three-piece set spans a polo shirt, a pullover hoodie, and a pair of track pants, each of which is equipped with the same gold NOCTA Manor insignia.

Each guest was also given a one-of-one signed ICEMAN glove, crafted in collaboration with Nike. A la the ICEMAN album cover art, the white leather glove features silver rhinestones and Drake’s signature across the middle. Perforated details cover the fingers and a small black Nike logo lands on the bottom of the silhouette.

Stationed on-site was a merchandise customization station, too, where all apparel and footwear could be airbrushed. Some decked out the new Minds, while others built upon the T-shirt blanks and the sweatsuit components.

Since the NOCTA Manor closed its ironclad doors, Drake hasn’t made any major moves, aside from a few photo dumps and a nothing-to-write-home-about NOCTA drop of essentials. On Tuesday, the brand announced the expansion of its ongoing partnership with Manor guest Kevin Durant, with a new lineup of collaborative graphic tees, heavyweight hoodies, and athletic staple pieces.

In a more ominous post-Manor move, he did also collaborate with Apple TV on an Instagram post for new show Neuromancer, due out on January 22. The trailer posted doesn’t feature Drake at all, but he is confirmed as a producer on the 10-episode cyberpunk adaption of William Gibson’s 1984 science-fiction novel. Another plaque to hang in the Manor.
