The Willy Chavarria x adidas Megaride AG Is Even Bolder in "Bubblegum"
Following up on the Black and Cream colorways with a vibrant pink variant set to drop in August.
Originally debuted on Willy Chavarria’s theatrically inspired FW26 runway show, a pink adidas Megaride AG is on the way, joining the Cream and Black colorways released at the start of the Summer.
The layered mesh construction is adorned with translucent TPU overlays on the upper, while suede panels at the heel and toe bring depth to the look. On the tongue, a red Chavarria wordmark is placed vertically — a bold callout that is reprised on matching logo tags on the lacing system. Much of the impact from this pair comes from the bold architectural sensibility of the outsoles, rendered in baby pink.
The “Black” variant leans heavily into a futuristic vibe — pairing a metallic silver mesh base with translucent “Putty Grey” panelling. Vibrant flashes of red foam on the sole create a sharp visual break, while light-catching reflective details on the heel and tongue complete the cutting-edge aesthetic. Alternatively, the “Cream” variant gives a more understated approach, combining an off-white mesh foundation with color-matched synthetic layers, finished with just a faint hint of red along the bottom tread.
The Megaride AG “Bubblegum” is the latest variant to join Chavarria’s growing list of adidas reimaginations, which have included classic silhouettes like the Superstar and even James Harden’s adidas Harden Vol. 10.
The Willy Chavarria x adidas Megaride AG is set to drop on August 7 through adidas’ webstore and select retailers.
