Worn by Rafael Nadal during his dramatic 2019 Flushing Meadows win, the NikeCourt Zoom Vapor Cage 4 was designed to return more energy to the wearer and allow for a faster transition to the next hit on clay, grass or hardcourt. Combining the signature elements of NikeCourt, the shoe features the durability of the Cage series and speed of the Vapor line.
The hybrid split design of the Zoom Vapor Cage 4 is defined by a medial upper section that wrapped with the studded, molded traction of the Cage to hold up to court drag and the lateral side features a TPU rand to allow for propulsion when in contact with the ground. Moving lower, a forefoot Zoom Air unit offers responsiveness for quick serves and navigating the baseline in with quick accuracy. Finally, a bootie-like construction in collaboration with the hidden laces provides a secure lockdown in the most active situations.
