Scam Rapper Teejayx6 Drops New "Gadgets" Single & Visual

The scam rap movement has seen a meteoric rise in 2019. Teejayx6 has been one of the pioneers of the newfound hip-hop subgenre, sculpting out a name on tracks that talk about using the “Dark Web,” to making mixtapes centered around credit card fraud. At just 18, the buzz around the Detroit rapper has swept across much of the underground, promising a massive rise in the years to come. Today, Teejay has released his new single “Gadgets,” dropping the new cut alongside a music video that hones in on the ins and outs of the scamming atmosphere.

As you can probably expect by the track’s title, “Gadgets” tells the story about switching between burner phones and “a couple MacBooks and tablets,” further hustling money through master swiping techniques. In effect, the track lends to Teejay’s overly detailed descriptions of his life as a scammer, and while not necessarily beautiful, is as in-your-face as much of the ex-drug dealers and trappers before him.
