Supreme‘s collaboration with UNDERCOVER and Public Enemy takes the headline slot for this week’s roundup of releases. The collection’s Fear of a Black Planet album cover art pieces and White House tees will be the main pickups, as well the Dr. Martens shoes, 14K gold necklaces and FOABP rug — but the biggest shoutout perhaps goes to the fact that a portion of proceeds from sales will be donated to the American Civil Liberties Union.

Other upcoming big drops are assisted by big names in the industry, such as A$AP Rocky‘s AWGE x Needles tracksuits, the long-awaited Kim Jones x GU collection and Blondey McCoy‘s Thames x Fred Perry Spring/Summer 2018 lineup. Elsewhere, The North Face and Off-White offer some remixed utility outerwear options, IISE and Soulland present softer, sophisticated takes on classic casual silhouettes, and the Hélas “Numero Uno” drop and Patta x Umbro soccer jerseys provide some prime tongue-in-cheek gear.

Hélas “Numero Uno” Spring 2018 Drop 1

Lucas Puig‘s label Hélas returns with a new “Numero Uno” Spring 2018 collection that goes heavy on the retro ’80s aesthetic. The range’s first drop includes a color-blocked fan jacket in camel and burgundy/navy/black; a denim coach jacket, hooded jacket, jeans in straight cut and track pant-like styles; bright color-blocked polo shirts, hooded jackets and panel caps; and a slew of graphic-print crewneck pullovers, hoodies and tees. Rounding out the apparel range are metal money clips and a metallic-gold dice set. Also check out the collection’s VHS-style campaign video.

Off-White™ Spring/Summer 2018 Jackets

Virgil Abloh‘s Off-White™ has released a pair of lightweight outerwear for the Spring/Summer 2018 season. Both jackets come with a glossy, patent-like finish and feature functional pockets and military accents. The Diagonal M65 Camo Jacket comes with dual flap pockets, slip pockets, zip fly closure and the signature Off-White™ stripe motif on the sleeves. The Glossy Velcro Coat sports a more pared-back look in tonal dark blue, while offering functionality via velcro strap closure and a removable zip panel. The Diagonal M65 Camo Jacket retails for $1,635 USD and the Glossy Velcro Coat for $1,995 USD. If you’re looking for a bag to match, Off-White™ also dropped a PVC tote bag.

The North Face “Black Series” Spring/Summer 2018 Capsule

The North Face has launched its latest “Black Series” collection, which is based on the “Shelter” theme. The functional collection centers on hardwearing outerwear pieces and shells, which are complemented with camo hoodies and T-shirts. The range’s standout piece is the Shelter Mountain Jacket, which features a unique military-influenced ribbon accent at the chest and is available in all-black or “Duck Green.” The Tech Shelter Jacket offers something more classic, and the basic hoodies and tees are upgraded with utility zip pockets. The collection ranges from $145 to $655 USD.

The special range consists of a Western-style embroidered jacket and button-down shirt, both coming in black with contrast white piping, snake-like embroidered accents, co-branding and premium sateen lining. Complementing the garments is a trio of hat pins — offered in gold, silver and black — which take the form of a double-headed snake.

More subcultural motifs are seen in pieces like the Well Lit Rugby shirt, 69 Varsity Jacket, Bad Acid Crew, Moses Pant, while a poodle fleece coach jacket adds something quirkier to the ’90s-vibe mix.

Thames x Fred Perry Spring/Summer 2018 Collection

Blondey McCoy‘s Thames and UK heritage brand Fred Perry collaborate on a Spring/Summer 2018 collection “inspired by the hum-drum routines of British life and the uniforms that attire it.” The 12-piece range has a classic color palette dominated by white with touches of burgundy, navy and pale blue. Included are traditional knitwear silhouettes such as a school uniform-inspired V-neck jumper, a tennis bomber and striped shirt, as well as the introduction of womenswear pieces via tennis-inspired dresses and skirts. All pieces are branded with a special edition of Fred Perry’s signature Laurel Wreath insignia with the Thames logo.

Patta x Umbro Football Jersey 2018 Collection

Dutch imprint Patta has linked arms with British sportswear label Umbro for a new soccer jersey capsule that reimagines two Ajax football kits from the 1990-91 series. The two jerseys feature a geometric pattern, one in purple/black and the other in blue/white, that are finished with red and blue detailing on the button collar and the number 14 on the back. Co-branding is loud and clear via embroidered Patta crest and Umbro logo patches on the chest area. The collaboration is modeled by goalkeeper Stanley Menzo, who made almost 250 league appearances for Ajax from 1983-94.

Kim Jones x GU Collection

Kim Jones‘ collaboration with Uniqlo‘s sister label GU is finally set to drop after a slew of previews and editorials. The collection’s main motif is the phrase “Edge of the looking glass” and a cartoon pickle character, which come in the form of embroidery and patches, as well as prints of “Kim Jones’ Douc Langur” and “Kim Jones’ Persian Cat.” The clothing range spans jackets, hoodies, sweatshirts, T-shirts, chinos, denim jackets and jeans; the accessories range features hats, undergarments, socks, jewelry, keychains and bags ranging from backpacks to waist packs; whereas the footwear options include slides, slip-on sneakers and classic tennis shoes.
