After showcasing a closer look at some of the items dropping from the upcoming Kim Jones x GU collaboration, we bring you an exclusive editorial shot by HYPEBEAST Japan, which highlights some of the must-have items, including embroidered denim jackets and animal-emblazoned tees.

Boasting plenty of graphics, the goods center around wardrobe staples, like denim jackets and backpacks. Jones’ own name appears throughout the range, as does his sense of humor. Playful graphic T-shirts showcase “Kim Jones’ Persian Cat” and “Kim Jones’ Douc Langur,” along with the seasons in which those graphics originally appeared. The trucker jackets are elevated with “Edge of the Looking Glass” verbiage and embossed buttons, along with a host of pickle characters, seen on the front and back of the items. Rounding out the range is a selection of backpacks constructed with heavy-duty Cordura, available with thematic branding” and bi-color triangle imagery.

Check out the items above and keep an eye on GU’s site for more information as we creep closer to the launch date. GU is staying busy with collaborative drops, recently teasing a forthcoming range of Evangelion-branded items.
