Thames & Fred Perry Reunite for Spring/Summer 2018 Collab
Inspired by school uniforms and vintage sportswear.
After collaborating on a Fall/Winter 2017 collection, Blondey McCoy‘s Thames and Fred Perry have come together again for Spring/Summer 2018. The new drop builds on themes that have been apparent in previous Thames releases, with McCoy explaining that “the collection is inspired by the hum-drum routines of British life and the uniforms that attire it.”
The 13-piece collection features a range of knitwear items such as a V-neck jumper inspired by school uniforms, a knitted tennis bomber and a striped knitted shirt. The collection is mainly white, with touches of burgundy, navy and pale blue as well as a mash-up of the Thames logo and Fred Perry’s signature Laurel Wreath. This capsule also sees the introduction of womenswear pieces, including tennis-influenced dresses and skirts. The full collection is set to drop via the Thames web store and Fred Perry’s online store on March 16.
