Amazon Prime To Show Pay-Per-View UFC Fights
Starting with UFC 222.

Amazon has announced that it will soon show all pay-per-view UFC fights on its Amazon Prime service. The new streaming option will begin on March 3 with UFC 222, and fans will have the option to pre-order the fights or to purchase the viewing ability up to four hours after the fight has started — meaning that viewers can skip straight to the title fight if the want to. After purchasing the fight, viewers will also be able to rewind the event and to replay it for up to 24 hours.
This is set to be the first time that any live pay-per-view programming has been available on Amazon Prime and shows the streaming service is placing an increased importance on sporting events. Earlier this year it was also reported that Amazon was considering moving into soccer and readying a bid to purchase Premier League viewing rights.
