Patta & Umbro Reunite for Soccer Jersey Collection
Celebrating classic Ajax football kits.

After releasing an expansion to its Spring/Summer 2018 collection, Dutch streetwear titan Patta has unveiled a collaboration with British sportswear label Umbro. Similarly to the last time the two brands worked together — back in 2017 — the new collection is inspired by football, and sees a new take on two Ajax away kits from the 1990-91 series.
Both jerseys come with an embroidered Patta crest and Umbro logo on the chest, as well as Patta branding in place of a sponsor. The two pieces both feature a geometric pattern, with one coming in purple and black and the other in a blue and white colorway. The shirts are then finished with red and blue detailing on the button collar and a number 14 on the back. To launch the collaboration, Patta recruited goalkeeper Stanley Menzo — who made almost 250 league appearances for Ajax between 1983 and 1994 — to model the jerseys. The capsule will release at Patta’s London and Amsterdam locations on March 17, before hitting the brand’s web store two days later.
This isn’t Patta’s first collaboration of the season following a joint release with Dekmantel festival and a friends and family sneaker with Nike.
