Injecting a little bit of unpredictably to the traditional design process, the youth-focused arm of Italian designer Roberto Cavalli’s empire, Just Cavalli, presents its latest design. Having won a competition held by the brand, Majorcan street artist Fatima de Juan, a.k.a Xena’s designs adorn the updated classic high-top footwear silhouette. With her garish, cartoonish style found on murals in cities around the world set against the black, fabric upper — Xena’s vibrant characters and sinister snakes capture the bold aesthetic of graffiti culture and the artist’s in-your-face style.
