Junya Watanabe & Carhartt’s Collaborative Paint-Splattered Outerwear Is Now Available
First seen at Paris Fashion Week.
First gracing our pages last summer, Junya Watanabe presented its spring/summer collection up on the runways of Paris Fashion Week, which featured reimagined workwear staples alongside Carhartt, some of which spotlights artistic paint splatter accents. With select pieces now making their way to retailers worldwide, we thought to take a closer look at two such items.
Resembling Carhartt’s iconic Chore coat, this off-white rendition gives way to green and blue markings all throughout, with a brown-hued corduroy collar and matching elbow patches. The other, bearing a strong resemblance to a Mac coat, features red, white and blue hand-painted detailing on an off-white color base. The Chore coat version retails for $1,658 USD, while the Mac goes for a price of $1,453 USD and can be purchased now via H.Lorenzo’s online shop.
In other fashion news, Gino Iannucci’s Long Island Skateshop Poets has been revived.
