BAIT & Reebok Go Back to the Drawing Board for "Ideation Department" Pack
Updating the sneakers with graphic detailing and clean colorways.
Following up on its snakeskin Question Mid rework, BAIT & Reebok rejoin for more revised footwear. The “Ideation Department” DMX Run 10 and DMX Fusion take inspiration from the sneaker design process, with plenty of graphic accents adding subtle visual appeal.
Sourcing the actual design notes from Reebok designer Bill Marvin, the DMX Run 10 places his original sketches across the sole-unit and insole, nodding to the model’s heritage. A grid pattern appears beneath the notes recalling sketchbook paper, while the majority of the shoe is executed in clean white with tan and blue accents to place the focus on the imagery. Similarly, the pack’s DMX Fusion centers around the original design sketches, placed on beneath transparent TPU. 3M knit adds reflective detailing to the upper, with a dark upper and tonal laces offset by a sleek white midsole and smoked transparent outsole.
The collaborative footwear is currently available on BAIT’s website and will appear at the brand’s All-Star weekend pop-up shop in LA. Other brands are gearing up for All-Star weekend as well, with adidas readying a remastered Crazt 1 ADV Sock sneaker, while KITH rejoins Nike for Chapter 2 of the reworked Lebron 15 “Long Live the King” series.
