Chris Rock has announced his first comedy special in ten years, titled Chris Rock: Tamborine, exclusively on Netflix. The legendary comic’s stand-up special is set to debut on February 14, where he will delve into topics such as relationships, race, and society. Tamborine is the first of two specials that will be released on Netflix in a deal he signed with the platform back in 2016, which was worth $40 million USD.
This follows suit with other heavyweights such as Dave Chappelle, Jerry Seinfeld, and Amy Schumer. Rock’s last stand up special was Kill the Messenger back in 2008 on HBO. He also directed the special Amy Schumer: Live at the Apollo for the network in 2015. Check out the trailer above and share your thoughts below.
