KITH‘s streetwear empire continues to grow as it’ll soon make its way to the west coast. Recently announced via Ronnie Fieg‘s Instagram and Twitter accounts, the Los Angeles store has been kept under wraps for over a year, but will officially open its doors this weekend. Designed in partnership with Snarkitecture, the brick & mortar will include a KITH Treats cereal bar, along with a number of special products exclusive to the flagship’s opening day.
With that said, KITH’s “Long Live the King” Collection with Nike has turned the page to its second chapter with another set of footwear drops (see the initial release). With inspiration stemmed in royalty, the collaboration incorporates embroidered patterns influenced by the cloaks of kings as an obvious nod to LeBron‘s ”King James” nickname. The drop will host two performance and two lifestyle iterations of the Nike LeBron 15 model: the performance editions include the “King’s Cloak” (white with colored embroidery) and “Suit of Armor” (tonal black) colorways, while the lifestyle iterations feature the “King’s Crown” (black with colored embroidery) and “City of Angels” (tonal white) versions.
The KITH x Nike “Long Live the King” Chapter 2 Collection will launch on February 16 exclusively at the new LA flagship, with an online drop to follow that night at midnight. The “City of Angels” product will remain exclusive to KITH.com, while all other KITH locations will host a launch on February 17.
