Mixing sportswear techniques with classic English manufacturing.

After beginning the year with its Fall/Winter 2018 collection and a Sanpak collaboration, London’s Garbstore has announced a new knitwear-focused brand. Named The English Difference, the new line incorporates influences from vintage sportswear and British culture with classic knitwear silhouettes.

All of the pieces are made in England from a fine Italian cotton yarn, with loop wheel machines — usually associated with vintage sweatshirts. Other elements of the pieces include racking stitches and ribbing details, which are both taken from sportswear pieces. The English Difference’s first drop consists of two styles, with the Cover Cardigan and Crew Sweat priced at £170 GBP and £150 GBP (approx $235 USD and $205 USD) respectively. Both styles are set to drop via the Garbstore web store soon.

In other fashion news, Wood Wood and Champion have continued their collaboration.
