A subtle nod to summers spent on the Amalfi Coast.

After its Wes Anderson-inspired collection for Fall/Winter 2017, Parisian label Harmony has taken inspiration from Italy for its next offering. The collection’s title — “Da Alfredo Positano” — comes from an Italian restaurant in Paris and a town on the Amalfi coast, both of which Harmony’s founder David Obadia used to frequently visit.

The Italian influence is referenced in the collection’s color palette, with the royal blue of houses on the Amalfi Coast featuring. Additionally, shades such as white, beige and navy blue are a nod to the outfits of wealthy holidaymakers of the 1950s, the region’s golden era. The materials also pay tribute to the idea of summer holidays, with silk, cupro and towelling being used alongside the warmer wool, mohair and wool crepe. Take a look at the lookbook above, with the collection set to drop via the Harmony web store soon.
