Nike Air Presto "AUS" PE Celebrates Its 20th Anniversary With First Retail Release
The one-time Olympic PE will hit Australia’s SUPPLY Store ahead of its global release.

Known as the “T-Shirt For your Feet,” Nike‘s Air Presto was born at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia, so to celebrate its 20th anniversary it’s coming back in an ultra-rare “AUS” colorway. As the “AUS” was originally gifted to Swoosh friends/family and Australian Olympic athletes, this marks its first-ever retail release.
Boasting an Australian Olympic Committee-inspired color scheme and an original neoprene upper in place of the mesh seen on many recent Presto makeups, the “AUS” is about the Land Down Under from heel to toe. Uppers take on a cool teal-style “Fresh Water” shade, and are held together with translucent midfoot cages and heel clips. The latter of these spells out “AUS” under its plastic folds.
The five-star design present on the right half of Australia’s flag is replicated with yellow embroidery on the toebox, while a combo stars-and-AUS graphic is placed on the tongue’s circular embroidered badge. White midsoles with a yellow Swoosh and durable BRS 1000 rubber outsoles round off the look. From a fit standpoint, the “AUS” returns to the Presto’s original t-shirt inspired sizing system. Sizes range from “XS” to “XL,” with the smallest fitting size 5-7 US and largest fitting size 13-15 US.
Nike Sportswear also tapped noted Australian retailer SUPPLY Store for an early launch of the Air Presto “AUS,” so SUPPLY assembled five of Australia’s finest athletes — Philadelphia 76ers point forward Ben Simmons, tennis star Nick Kyrgios, Chelsea forward Sam Kerr, former 3x WNBA MVP Lauren Jackson and wheelchair tennis champion Dylan Alcott — for a special lookbook.
The Nike Air Presto AUS is set to release exclusively at SUPPLY Store on July 17, with a retail price of $190 AUD (approximately $133 USD). A full global release may follow in the coming weeks.
