New Era & Spike Lee Reveal Plans for New York Yankees Championship Collection

One month are linking up with Y’s by Yohji Yamamoto for a blacked-out capsule, New Era is teaming up with Spike Lee for its latest major collaborative offering. Billed as “A Spike Lee Joint designed for New Era,” the pairing’s new New York Yankees Championship collection is made up of seven new designs, with each style paying tribute to the Yankees’ 27 World Series Championships.
Notably, New Era and Spike Lee’s new fitted caps feature baseball bat or glove graphics that “represent each year the Yankees won the World Series.”
“We are honored to work with Spike Lee on the New Era x Spike Lee New York Yankees Championship Collection, our largest combined collection to date, which celebrates the New York Yankees 27 World Series titles,” Tim Shanahan, Director of Baseball at New Era Cap, shares via an official press statement. ”The Yankees logo has become a symbol that extends beyond sports, into entertainment and culture, and this collection celebrates the team’s iconic status.”

Concerning the cost of each cap, consumers can expect to pay anywhere from $42.99 USD to $51.99 USD.
