Kevin Knox, Terry Rozier & Skylar Diggins Unveil PUMA's Clyde Hardwood Model
An all-new performance sneaker from PUMA’s newly-invigorated Hoops division.
PUMA continues its longstanding Walt “Clyde” Frazier-inspired line with the unveiling of its latest performance basketball sneaker, the Clyde Hardwood. Pro players Kevin Knox, Terry Rozier, Skylar Diggins-Smith, Danny Green and Sterling Brown are featured in the lookbook for the kicks, which are slated to release in three colorways starting next month.
The Clyde Hardwood is meant to combine both lifestyle and athletic properties, continuing the hybrid aesthetic that PUMA has long stood for. As an homage to the shoe’s namesake, the sneakers are constructed with elements that nod to the ’70s while incorporating contemporary details. Styles are made in the essence of the original PUMA Clyde and feature retro line designs, while a ProFoam midsole and specialized traction pattern ensure its functionality on the court. Each edition comes with a crisp white upper, complemented by logos in black, pink and green.
The PUMA Clyde Hardwood is priced at $120 USD and set to release on October 18 in-store and at PUMA.com. Look out for New York Knicks rookie RJ Barrett to sport the style on the court beginning on October 22.
