Migos & Snoop Dogg Reconnect for New Single & Visual, "My Family"
A new track to promote ‘The Addams Family.’
Nearly one month after the release of the clip for Quavo’s Control the Streets Volume 2 contribution “Virgil,” Migos are teaming up with Snoop Dogg for a new collaborative single titled “My Family.” Notably, the song comes to us part of the rollout and promotional campaign for the forthcoming film The Addams Family. One of the highlights of the official soundtrack for The Addams Family, “My Family” is also receiving its own lyric viusal.
“It’s like I’m always filling a void. When I make music, I feel like it’s needed because there’s nothing like it that’s already out,” Snoop Dogg recently explained to Billboard, breaking down how he puts together records like “My Family.” “I ain’t that young, fly rapper no more. I’m like a great uncle to a lot of these rappers now. They’re sending me songs and trying to be a part of this too, so I’ve got to welcome that because they’re the future. They’re the ones who control the game right now. And for them to want to do records with me keeps me relevant, keeps me still in the realm when young kids hear my voice … I also have to educate, elevate and innovate all at the same time.”
You can take a look at Migos and Snoop Dogg’s new lyric video for their Addams Family collaboration and single “My Family” above. MGM’s The Addams Family stars Charlize Theron, Nick Kroll, Chloe Grace Moretz, Snoop Dogg and Bette Midler, and is scheduled to hit theaters next month on October 11.
