Y's Taps New Era for a Stealthy Blacked-Out Capsule
Featuring a full tracksuit, rucksack and 9THIRTY cap.

Following its joint project with mastermind JAPAN back in June, New Era has returned with its latest collaborator Y’s By Yohji Yamamoto. Presented is a stealthy, blacked-out capsule comprised of a tracksuit, hat and a set of bags.
Each piece in the collection is marked with grey “Y’s” branding, alongside New Era’s iconic logo. One standout piece is a hooded track jacket. The jacket sees a stretchy antiperspirant jersey nylon construction that holds a slight sheen. The “Y’s” logo is stamped over the right arm, complemented by a tiny New Era logo at the bottom left hem. Another highlighted piece in the capsule is the tall rucksack. Coming with a mix of mesh and canvas textiles, details like tonal buckles, adjustable ripstop straps and multiple compartments top off the carrying accessory. Other pieces like the small pouch bag, 6-panel 9THIRTY cap and track pants round up the concise range.
The Y’s x New Era Capsule will be available at theshopyohjiyamamoto.com as well as all Y’s locations on August 30, ranging from $80 – $245 USD. For those eager to get a taste of the capsule, the Y’s x New Era 9THIRTY cap will be available on August 10 at the select locations.
Elsewhere, Stella McCartney has released a set of monogrammed utilitarian belt bags.
