Yung Baby Tate, Queen Key & Asian Doll Channel the Plastics in "Mean Girl" Visual
Inspired by Tate’s love for the cult film.
Yung Baby Tate has dropped of a music video for “Mean Girl,” a new cut off her breakout project’s re-release GIRLS Deluxe. The Atlanta rapper links up with Queen Key and Asian Doll for the Mean Girls-inspired visual, reimagining the Plastics with Tate as head honcho Regina George and even sporting the iconic character’s “A Little Bit Dramatic” T-shirt with her own twist. Tate, Key and Doll exhibit their place atop the high school hierarchy with clean flows and harsh rhymes, not really caring whether people fear them or love them. “Mean Girls is one of my all time favorite movies, I had to remake it for this song,” Tate said in a statement. “Three BLACK GIRLS?! As the plastics?!?! Had to happen!”
