'IT: Chapter 2' TV Spots Reveal Terrifying New Footage
Pennywise wants to play a game.
Warner Bros.’ latest TV spots for IT: Chapter 2 is here to haunt you in your dreams. The pair of 30-second teasers remain brief in length but not short of terror, offering extended scenes such as an interaction between an innocent young girl and Pennywise (prior to him devouring her, of course) and Beverly’s (Jessica Chastain) eerie conversation with a local Derry grandmother.
The upcoming sequel is set 27 years after the Losers Club’s first bout with Pennywise, and the seven leads return to Derry to take the killer clown down once again. Now adults, they’re forced to reconnect with the trauma of their pasts in order to defeat Pennywise.
James McAvoy stars as Bill, Jessica Chastain as Beverly, Bill Hader as Richie, Isaiah Mustafa as Mike, Andy Bean as Stanley, Jay Ryan as Ben and James Ransone as Eddie. Their younger counterparts from Chapter 1 — Jaeden Martell as Bill, Sophia Lillis as Beverly, Finn Wolfhard as Richie, Chosen Jacobs as Mike, Jeremy Ray Taylor as Ben, Jack Grazer as Eddie and Wyatt Oleff as Stan — will also be making appearances. Bill Skarsgård reprises his role as Pennywise the Dancing Clown.
