February comes to a close with the second drop of Supreme‘s Spring/Summer 2018 collection. This week’s Supreme release features the flagship studded Arco leather jacket that was chosen for the first-ever Supreme SS18 teaser. Supplementing the indigo pieces are muticolor “Acid Desert Island” pattern quilted pieces and biker jackers constructed of a ribbed towelling texture fabric. Following a round of teasers, Hiroshi Fujiwara‘s fragment design x NEIGHBORHOOD “SLUMBERS” collection has finally released coinciding with the streetwear OG’s upcoming musical performances. The merch line features a hoodie, short-sleeve and long-sleeve T-shirt featuring graphics inspired by Metallica‘s Ride the Lighting album cover art. Metallica’s iconic lightning design is echoed via the fragment design lightning bolts on the two graphic tees, while the hoodie sees the fragment design graphic superimposed on a sketch of a dog.

maharishi Upcycled Military Camo Capsule
maharishi‘s latest release transforms unwearable quilted poncho liners into stylish outerwear silhouettes. The upcycled vintage capsule features two flagship garments: a camo print quilted jacket and an Inspector fishtail parka, as well as basic menswear pieces such as straight fit trousers, long-sleeve graphic tees, Tabi socks and waist bags in olive and neutral options. John Elliott and Japanese leather specialists Blackmeans have linked up for another Spring/Summer 2018 capsule offering new leather jacket designs. The luxury capsule takes inspiration from the California desert with modernized renditions of a riding jacket and stadium jacket. The Yuji rider jacket features washed and distressed leather detailing, Riri zip pockets, premium metal hardwear and a belted waistband; the Yuji stadium jacket sees similar distressed leather makeup with snap buttons and a high contrast black and white striped rib collar. Both pieces are carefully handcrafted in Japan.

Following last week’s all-white “Blank Canvas” capsule, Pharrell and adidas Originals return again with another Hindu Holi release — this time in full saturation. The latest adicolor collection features footwear and apparel designs in red, green, blue and yellow colorways that were tinted with unique Holi festival powder-dye technique that makes each piece one-of-a-kind. The apparel range includes co-branded track tops, T-shirts, shorts and track pants, while the footwear side features the Stan Smith and Tennis Hu PK silhouettes with crisp white lining and midsoles for some clean contrast.

Kappa “BANDA” Spring/Summer 2018 Collection
Italian sportswear imprint Kappa has launched its Spring/Summer 2018 “BANDA” collection, which looks to the label’s signature retro aesthetic. This season’s range focuses on a bold teal and orange palette, which is combined with Kappa’s classic white and black color combo. Pullover hoodies, track jackets, tees and pants are emblazoned with OMNI logo stripes and oversized branding patches to tie back to the BANDA look. The collection will first launch on March 2 via an UNFOLLOW pop-up in Tokyo, a wider release is slated for March 10 at Kappa’s web store.
