Reebok and Cottweiler rejoin for a full array of collaborative gear. Like the pair’s last collaborative effort, the lookbook is shot in a desert, with the harsh climate influencing the clothing’s technical properties.
The ultra-demanding Marathon Des Sables informed the collection, with participating athletes forced to endure a six-day trek through Morocco’s Sahara Desert. Aiming to blend comfortable sportswear with forward-looking clothes able to handle the punishing climate, Cottweiler sourced cutting-edge fabrics for the line — thus, certain items from the range are packable, weather-adaptable and UV resistant. Core layers like T-shirts and shorts are supplemented by lightweight hoodies, track pants, bags and even a poncho, all channeling the collection’s sand and volcano-inspired color palette. Collaborative footwear includes the Desert High and Low silhouettes, both coinciding with the colors and techy influences — even nodding to the desert influence with sock-like leg openings that keep sand out of the shoes.
Shop the range when it hits stores March 1. For now, check out the collection on the runway and one of the collaborative silhouettes below. Reebok has continued its winning collaborative streak recently, with its latest Palace collaboration hitting store shelves this past week.
