It's David vs. Goliath in This Exclusive 'Pacific Rim: Uprising' Movie Clip

After receiving a first look at Pacific Rim‘s upcoming sequel last summer, fans need only wait a few more days for Pacific Rim: Uprising to hit the big screen. Uprising is set 10 years after the original film and stars John Boyega as Jake Pentecost, a man immersed in the criminal underworld. To live up to his father’s legacy (played by Idris Elba in Pacific Rim) Jake must gather up new pilots to suit up as Jaegars to save humanity from the monstrous Kaijus’ return. His estranged sister, Mako Mori (played by Rinko Kikuchi) and her elite team of mech pilots also join in the on mission to save the Earth.
In the HYPEBEAST exclusive clip above, a Jaegar piloted by Jake’s friend Amara is seen outrunning November Ajax, a much larger robot from the Pan Pacific Defence Core.
