Following a recent collaboration with Marino Infantry and a commemorative “Yamborghini” collection, New Era teams up with Bodega for a limited-edition joint run.

Dubbed the “Earn Your Stripes” collection, Bodega and New Era’s new collab is made up of six, team-centric patched and graphic-focused styles, with adjustable strapback, fitted and bucket choices for each. Specifically, the Los Angeles Lakers, New York Knicks, Golden State Warriors, Chicago Bulls, Boston Celtics and Cleveland Cavaliers are represented in the lineup. Topping off the release, everything comes in a special “metal ammunition case.”

“It would be difficult to name a place where earning your stripes is more clearly illustrated than on the outdoor basketball courts that dot city streets all across the country,” reads an official statement from Bodega. “So, for NBA All-Star Weekend 2018, Bodega and New Era celebrate the legacy of hard work, individual artistry, and competitive spirit that have made streetball a legitimate cultural phenomenon, with a military-inspired range of hats and apparel.” Altogether, the effort represents a “perfectly simple concept” of rising “through the ranks” by the strength of your work ethic, talents and the years of hard work under your belt.

Having received an in-store release earlier this month, these caps are expected to hit online outlets this Friday, March 2 at 11 a.m EST. Late last year, Bodega showcased Midnight Studios and GUESS Jeans USA for a “punk”-inspired editorial.
