BAPE is back with more essential hot weather goods. A pair of lightweight bomber jackets have been upgraded with a host of embroidered detailing in line with the brand’s recognizable iconography.

Bolstered by an array of prints, a pair of tonal MA-1 bomber jackets offer a range of classic BAPE symbols. “PONR” (“Point Of No Return”) branding appears on the upper left sleeve, while the striped tiger detailing is seen on the lower right sleeve, balancing the asymmetric orange detailing; small white prints located on the upper and lower portion of the opposite sleeves do the same. On the rear of each jacket is an embroidered shark face, offering a bold black, white and red contrast to the otherwise blank rear portion. Each jacket is replete with normal MA-1 detailing, like a zippered pocket on the left arm, snap button pockets, elasticated hems and cuffs and a leather tab-bearing zipper on the front.

The jackets launch March 3 on BAPE’s website, the same day that the brand releases its exclusive capsule collection with Dover Street Market Ginza.

More eye-catching drops are on the way from the stalwart label, including a collection of indigo-dyed staples and a new UNDEFEATED collaboration.
