BAPE Readies Full Collection of Indigo-Dyed Clothes
Classic pieces upgraded with rich blue tones and sashiko stitching.
Hot on the heels of its brand new UNDEFEATED collaboration, BAPE queues up more must-have goods for Spring 2018. This time, the stalwart Japanese label is prepping a host of its staple items, elevated with indigo dye and handstitched sashiko.
Reworked versions of classic BAPE designs offer deep blue shades, guaranteed to yield personalized fades with repeated wear. Tonal FIRST CAMO appears throughout, with Katakana BAPE branding, APE heads and the familiar Shark branding bolstering the items with further visual flair. Time-consuming sashiko stitching further complements the range’s traditional inspirations, granting texture to a BAPE cap, the sleeves of an MA-1 and a jacket that also bears Shark hood accents. Patchwork denim detailing adds extra contrast to the pockets of the hooded jacket, panels of the cap and elbows of a washed hoodie.
