The Weeknd‘s “Blinding Lights” is officially the longest-charting entry on the Billboard Hot 100, spending its record-breaking 88th week on the chart dated August 21.

According to Billboard, the After Hours cut surpassed Imagine Dragons‘ “Radioactive,” which spent 87 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 between 2012 and 2014. “Blinding Lights” initially debuted at No. 11 in December 2019 and finally hit No. 1 for four weeks starting April 4, 2020. The track also went on to become the longest-charting song in the Hot 100’s top five at 43 weeks, top 10 at 57 weeks, top 20 at 79 weeks and top 40 at 84 weeks. It is currently at No. 18.

The XO Records head took to Instagram to celebrate the feat, sharing several photos of himself, his dog and a meme. “Forever grateful to be able to experiment with sounds, try new things with my voice and create music with the people I truly love and respect,” The Weeknd wrote. “For the last decade every song has been a journey and to be able to continue this journey has been nothing short of a blessing. It’s the only gift I could ever ask for. I’ll be doing it for as long as I can breathe. I love my fans and wouldn’t be here without you. Big day for blinding lights. Multiple songs in the top 20. Thursday turns 10. Caesar turned 4 and the f*cking dawn is coming. LET’S GO.”
