atmos and Dr. Martens Ready Anime-Inspired Tarik Zip Boot

atmos and Dr. Martens have collaborated on everything from classics like the 1461 to futuristic styles like the Tract Combs boot, but for the two’s latest co-created effort they’re bringing a little bit of classic and a little bit of futuristic together on the Tarik Zip Boot. Inspired by the sui generis visual style of anime, the boot is loaded with detail and accompanied by a digital “lookbook” that drives home its inspiration even further.

Sitting atop brand-new sole tooling that’s secured with signature yellow stitching, the Tarik Zip Boot’s upper is constructed of soft black velvet that’s trimmed with smooth leather eyestays, collars and heel pieces. Silver eyelets add a touch of metallic flair to the mix, while elongated red laces criss-cross over a co-branded atmos x Dr. Martens tongue badge and yellow heel tabs aid with ease of entry and removal. On the lateral collar, there’s a large silver zipper rimmed by red fabric for a final touch of detail.

The atmos x Dr. Martens Tarik Zip Boot is scheduled to release via the atmos webstore and Dr. Martens’ e-shop come August 21. Its MSRP is set at $150 USD.
