Sunny Tones Cover the Air Jordan 1 “Yellow Strike”
The sun isn’t setting on the Jumpman’s run of yellow Air Jordan 1s just yet.
August has been a season of sunshine for Jordan Brand — at least when it comes to the Air Jordan 1. We’ve seen the Air Jordan 1 “Pollen” and the Air Jordan 1 Low “Pollen,” both of which are now set to be joined by a third yellow style: the Air Jordan 1 Low “Yellow Strike,” a warm-toned women’s exclusive.
Where the duo of “Pollen” colorways used yellow with either white or black details, the color palette presented by the “Yellow Strike” is a Coldplay-esque all yellow. The signature “Yellow Strike” shade, rich and golden, appears on mudguards, eyestays, heels, collars and Swooshes. “Pollen” is present as well, supplying tonal contrast on the toeboxes, quarter panels, Swooshes and nylon tongue. Apart from the Swooshes, branding arrives via a small Jumpman logo on the tongue, Michael Jordan‘s #23 placed on the lace keeper and an OG Air Jordan ball-and-wings logo on the heel. Of note is that this ball-and-wings logo is debossed instead of embroidered for a hit of detail that’s dissimilar to many past models.
The Air Jordan 1 Low “Yellow Strike” will release via the Nike webstore and retailers like Sivasdescalzo in the coming days. Its MSRP is set at $100 USD.
